Credit Card Balance Transfer Promotion
Synergy FCU is offering a balance transfer promotional rate to help members manage their credit card debt. Transfer the money from your high interest rate cards from other financial institutions or department stores. Paying down your balance at a better rate will save you money because you'll spend less on interest.
Promotion Information
Effective: 8/1/2024 - 7/31/2025
Promo Rate: 3.90% APR on transferred funds
Term: 12 months
Promo Fee: 3% of transferred funds
Balance Transfer Amount: $1 to your available credit limit
Number of Transfers: No limit. You can initiate as many transfers as you need between the effective dates.
After the 12-month term ends, your annual percentage rate will revert to your approved standard variable credit card annual percentage rate. Any funds charged directly to the card outside of a balance transfer will be at your approved standard variable credit card annual percentage rate. The 3.90% APR rate only applies to balance transfer dollars. Transfers between Synergy FCU cards will not be allowed. The Synergy FCU Share Secure card does not qualify for the balance transfer promotion.

Log into Online Banking to get started. Go into your credit card platform, find Manage Card, and select Balance Transfer.

Card Options
MasterCard Platinum
This is the standard card. Your rate and credit limit will depend on your qualifications for credit. There is no annual fee for this card.
MasterCard Platinum Rewards
This is the rewards card. Rewards are offered through UChooseRewards and can be redeemed for gift cards, event tickets, and merchandise. Points can also be used for Apple, Amazon, and PayPal purchases. You can get special points if you use the vendor links inside UChooseRewards while shopping online. Sign in to UChooseRewards and enroll your Platinum Rewards card to get started. There is no annual fee for this card.
